The main living area is a large open-concept feel that extends to the beautifully renovated kitchen. As you first walk in, you'll find a bench/ski rack/coat hooks to make it easy hitting the slopes extremely convenient! Just outside the front door you'll find our favorite feature, the GAME ROOM! Here you'll find: -A beautiful black-felt pool table -A rustic bar and stools for relaxation -Arcade console with more than 3000+ arcade games (including all of the favorite!) -Poker table with chips and cards -Shuffleboard -Wall hook ring game -Board games and cards The back yard is the ultimate spa experience at The Alpine Oases. Here you'll find not only a 6-seater jacuzzi, but also a brand new 6-person cedar barrel sauna! With an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, propane heater, and comfortable couches, you will fall in love with this space. Your furry friends are welcome too! Please just let us know you're bringing them as there is a $100 pet fee. Additionally, please pick up after them and not leave them unattended. AC IS ONLY IN GAME ROOM NOT IN THE HOUSE

Other Details to Note

Please note the house does not have A/C (most homes don't in Big Bear). It is usually not hot enough to be needed but we provide fans in case it gets a little warm. Big Bear has some very important rules for all short term rentals. You will must follow these rules or your stay will be canceled without refund: 1.) Do not exceed the stated occupancy limit: the occupancy is (7) adults for The Alpine Oasis 2.) No parking on the street or yard and a maximum of (2) cars 3.) No amplified music 24/7 4.) Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00pm-7:00am. 5.) Maximum dogs allowed (2) *No Parties! If you have more than the number of guests in your booking your stay will be cancelled immediately. The city takes this very seriously. * PLEASE NO SMOKING * MAXIMUM OF 7 PEOPLE Please note: Big Bear is located in the mountains, where conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. While power or Wi-Fi outages are uncommon, they can occasionally affect the entire area due to weather or other natural factors. We always do our best to support our guests, but some situations are outside our control. Since we must follow our cancellation policy and are unable to provide refunds for natural disasters or related disruptions, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will give you peace of mind in the event of wildfires, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and want your trip to be as worry-free as possible.

-Respect our Neighbors: Quiet hours start at 10 PM. You may not be in the jacuzzi past this time. If you are loud past these hours the city WILL issue a fine which you will be responsible for. -Multiple offenses will result in you being evicted property with no refund. -No glassware allowed in the Jacuzzi -Do NOT move or damage pool table. If it is moved or damaged you will be charged a $500 fine -Pets are an extra $100 PER stay non refundable. Pets must not be left unattended or allowed on furniture

Our stay at Daniel and Alex's house was fantastic. We felt very comfortable in the house and it was close to everything we needed. I especially loved the bathtub. The tub being enclosed in the shower made it so easy to give the kids a bath. The jacuzzi was great and we absolutely loved the arcade games. If we have the opportunity, we will absolutely stay here again.

This place was perfect. Right next to everything we needed and had great extra activities like the game room and jacuzzi. The host was very responsive and nice. The house is beautiful. The only thing that kinda sucked was not being able to use the heater at night. Not sure if that was on the description before we booked it , but at 29 degrees at night the heater would have saved us during those cold nights., especially with kids.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location is great. You are in a neighborhood with other homes nearby (which made me feel safer), but the home still feels private, cozy, and relaxing. We were 10-15 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go. The home is decorated nicely and there are so many amenities — a game room, sauna, fireplace, etc. The game room was such a highlight! There are so many options in there and the decor/lighting is so fun. Everything was very clean and everything worked as expected. Reliable internet and great heating in the home. I also loved that the place is dog friendly. The hosts were very kind and responsive! I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back.

Alpine Oasis is the home away from home. The place was clean and all the amenities listed were in great condition. The place itself was easy to locate and accessible to attractions and activities. Daniel & Alex were very responsive and accommodating. 10/10 and highly recommended.
